New Mineral “Niobobaotite”
Chinese scientists have discovered a new superconducting mineral, Niobobaotite, composed mainly of niobium. The mineral, found in a remote area of China, could revolutionize various sectors, including energy transmission and transportation, by reducing energy loss and facilitating high-intensity magnetic fields. Despite challenges associated with maintaining superconductivity at extremely low temperatures, the discovery holds substantial potential for future research and practical applications.
